Walk the Walk for Autism - Stepping in the Right Direction for Autism
Together we raised $270,000 in 2018.
Thank you for Walking the Walk for Autism.
Your support means understanding, acceptance and inclusion
for people with autism and their families.

Trent's Triumph 2018

We’re sending the call out again this year for you and yours to join our team, raise funds, and spread awareness.
We would absolutely love for you to join us on Saturday, June 16th at 10:30 am at Amherst Stadium. You can collect pledges or simply make a pledge for yourself.  If you can’t make it why not donate a few $$$$ for a worthy cause.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Why I'm Walking

In September 2010, our son, Trent was diagnosed with PDD-NOS which is on the Autism Spectrum. Over the last few years, we were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from our family and friends when they joined us for Walk the Walk for Autism. We had no idea what a special event this would be for Trent and our family.  The best part is that all the money raised goes to our local Cumberland Chapter of Autism NS. This group provides support group meetings, educational opportunities, family activities, events, sessions, a lending library, and promotes autism awareness.
