Kelly Marianne's Birthday Fundraiser
I think this will be my 7th year participating in the walk. I am turning 32 this year, 10 days after Walk the Walk for Autism! I want to raise autism awareness and acceptance.
My first year was my best for fundraising - I was so close to raising $1,000. I would love to hit the $1,000 mark. All money raised stays here in the ANNAPOLIS VALLEY - running the autism centre in Kingston, programs for all ages across the Valley.
Why I'm Walking
I found out when I was 21 that I was on the autism spectrum and this is my way to give back. The walk is really enjoyable and I enjoy being "myself" for a day with my friends.
