Autism Nova Scotia (Truro Chapter) has been an integral part of my families life over the last 5 years. From the days before diagnosis, to the day we acquired my sons diagnosis and MY diagnosis along with him, to now as we enter the uncertainty of new Covid social norms. Autism Nova Scotia (Truro Chapter) has been there every step of the way for us. Survival swim classes with one on one instructors, summer camps when summer camps did not seem possible this year, lending an understanding ear during the hard times aswell as the good, work shops, parent groups, women on the spectrum social zoom confrences. Autism Nova Scotia has and continues to be a huge resouce to our family and others like ours. They rely on the support of fundraising and now more then ever, need the support of Nova Scotia as a whole.
