Our Walk committee has been working very hard over the last several months to make this year's Walk bigger and better than ever.
ONLINE REGISTRATION IS OPEN NOW!
Schedule of Events:
10am Registration/Pre-Walk Activities - All teams/individual walkers must register at Viictori Park Band Shelter and bring their pledge sheets and money. A limited amount of t-shirts will be available to purchase the day of the Walk so be sure to order your shirts online.
Pre-Walk Activities include: Bouncy House, Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Yard games and Bubble Fun.
10:45am - 11:00am Sponsor/Participant Appreciation - Photo op/prizes for teams/individuals)
11:00am - 12:00am Walk - We will have our shorter Walk route again this year. We will still leave and finish at Victoria Park, but our parade will pause for a special event at Truro's new Civic Square- right next to Truro's Famous Farmer's Market.
12:00pm - 1:30pm Post- Walk we will have our hot-dog BBQ and of course, a big piece of cake
T-SHIRT ORDER DEADLINE IS 11:59PM ON JUNE 5, 2019!!!! ***please note that even though the website will allow orders after this date, we cannot guarantee the order***
Note: Only a small number of shirts will be available to purchase the day of the Walk for $20 each.

ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 21 th at 11:00am. You may still register on Saturday morning in person at the Walk launch.
PLEASE NOTE: For any cash or cheque donations brought in on the day of the Walk, you must hand in a pledge form with your donations containing at minimum: full name and mailing address of each donor, how much they gave, and whether they request a tax receipt. If any of these details are missing, a tax receipt will not be sent out. To save costs of paper and postage, where possible please include an email address where their receipt can be sent.
