Walk the Walk for Autism - Stepping in the Right Direction for Autism
Together we raised $270,000 in 2018.
Thank you for Walking the Walk for Autism.
Your support means understanding, acceptance and inclusion
for people with autism and their families.

Team Victor

Welcome to Team Victor! We have participated in every walk since it began. Although we help raise funds throughout the year, the Walk is the biggest event of the year. It is an event we look forward to each year. All of the funds raised stay right here in the Annapolis Valley, supporting people on the Autism Spectrum and their families. Please consider making a donation to this important cause!

Why I'm Walking

We are walking in support of our boy, Victor. Vic has displayed signs of autism since birth, and was diagnosed at the age of 20 months. He has gone from a non-verbal child with significant developmental delays to an active 17-year-old who loves people and lives for school and Teen Social. He is learning to cook and has developed many daily routines that he can perform independently. He has an infectious giggle and a mischeivous smile. His quirky sense of humour has endeared him to all who meet him. He loves camping and meeting his friends every week at  the Autism Centre for Teen Social. Many of the things he loves to do would not be possible without the funds raised by events such as Wallk the Walk for Autism.
